Accounts

How do I register for an educator account?

To register for an educator account, please email service@thatsmyrobot.com, using your .edu school email address, with your That’s My Robot account number and position within the school. Note: your .edu email address does not need to be listed on your That’s My Robot account in order to be eligible, it is only used for verification purposes.

Who qualifies for an educator account?

Educator accounts, and the educator discount, are currently available for those working in a K12 or Higher Education setting, with access to a .edu email address.

Orders

How can I get an invoice for my order?

If you need to get an invoice for one of your orders it can be done by accessing your order history. First you will need to log into your That’s My Robot account. Once you have logged into your account click “My Account” in the upper right corner of the page. Then, on the drop-down menu, click “Order History”. Here is where you will see a list of your previous orders and links to download the corresponding invoice. Simply find the order in question and click the “Invoice” link on the right-hand side of the page. This will pull up an invoice that you can download and print. Please Note: In order to view your order history, you must have a registered account. If you checked out as a guest, you’ll need to reach out to us directly for a copy of your invoice.

How do I get a quote for items and/or shipping costs?

Once you have added all the items you want to your shopping cart, you can click on the Calculate Shipping button underneath all the items and select the address you’re shipping to. It will give you a pretty accurate estimate of the actual shipping charges for available shipping options. Also, when you select the shipping method you want to use while in checkout, it will show you the actual amount you’ll be charged for shipping.

How do I return a product?

We can only accept returns of unopened kits and products, within 30 days of receipt. Any returns after 30 days are in store credit only. We do not accept any returns after 3 months from the order’s ship date. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives damaged or defective. We do not accept any returns from orders that are over 6 months old. Please contact us before returning any package! We’re reasonable people and we hope you are too! Contact us if you have any issues and we’ll do our best to help you out!

My organization is a US school, university, etc. and we would like to place a purchase order. Do you accept purchase orders?

Purchase orders are not currently accepted at this time. We will be looking into this for a future release.

Can I back order an item that is out-of-stock?

No. Because we cannot always predict when and how much inventory will become available, we cannot accept backorders.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards thru Square (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) or PayPal. US funds only, and we do not accept COD orders. See our Payment Policy page for more info.

Discounts

Does That’s My Robot offer an educator discount?

Yes. That’s My Robot currently offers up to 10 percent off That’s My Robot for those with an educator account. When the account is verified, you will be provided a discount code associated with your account email.

Shipping

Do you ship to my country?

Unfortunately, at this time we only ship to continental United States addresses.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Shipping costs will vary greatly depending on what you’re ordering, where it is shipping to, and what shipping method you choose. We do offer free economy shipping for all domestic (shipping within the US) orders worth $100 or more. Once you have added all the items you want to your shopping cart, you can click on the Calculate Shipping button underneath all the items and select the address you’re shipping to. My order shipped and it’s been more than a week, where is it? Is there a tracking number?

If you requested shipment with FedEx or USPS Priority Mail, a tracking number will be emailed to you soon after your order is processed. If it’s been a few days and you have not received a tracking number, contact us! Please note that USPS priority and first-class mail are shipped with a delivery confirmation number. This is not the same as tracking, and often times the barcode is only scanned when it is delivered. Delivery confirmation is intended to show when and where it was delivered, not where it is currently or when delivery is expected!

How do I purchase/redeem a That’s My Robot Gift Certificate?

At this time, That’s My Robot does offer gift certificates. We are looking into the interest and will potentially provide these in the future.
